((( A lost sheep )))
The Bible in its own context makes us to be in harmony with it, when it compares human with nature. In this week series YOU NEED A SHEPHERD we will as use a sheep figure as an illustration to human.
Being lost as humanity it was not by choice, it was not also by fate, but it was because of one man's disobedience . Nevertheless, glory be to God because by also one man's obedience we were all brought to being (Rom 8:19). No one will ever acknowledge that they are lost up until it consciously occur to them that they are lost hence it is hard to preach about Christ to people who have never received Christ as their Lord and Saviour especially those who have achieved in Life .I would like to say if you have never accepted the Grace of God never think you have made it in life.
Even the sheep that was wandering alone, that was apart from the ninety and nine. Wandering alone it means you depend of your abilities not on God's power, it means making your own philosophy of living not God’s purpose, wandering it means having your own tradition and disregard the Word of God. Because God placed humanity in the place were they will never get lost but they [men and women] have sought out many devices [for evil]. (Ecc. 7:29). For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ (Acts 17:28), the place where humanity must exist at, is in Christ, we need to give ourselves this question, Am I in Christ?
[ “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? ] (Luke 15:4)
