Wednesday Message.

We may be down, but we are not out.

We oath not to reject those who fall, especially those who still have the hope of rising again. The Bible is all about the fallen humankind. Firstly, if Adam and Eve did not fall in sin (Gen 3), we wouldn't have all these amazing stories of faith. Nevertheless, the Word doesn't cause or encourage us to fall, however, the word of God came to rescue us and preserve us from falling. The elements of being joyous when the children of God stumble, trip and fall comes from the enemy. It is devilish for a born again to laugh, gloat and celebrate other fellow born again when they have backslidden. Apostle Paul did not rejoice when the young man fell from the third stage, the Apostle realized that the young man was down, but not out! (Acts 20:7-11). We also don't know what caused or led Eutychus to sit in a window, church politics does lead believers to the edge, gossip does cause them to be in the outskirt. Judgments and being superficial believers do motivate other believers to fall. It is only the devil and demons who rejoice when the children of God backslide.

[ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.

(Micah 7:8)
