(((Fill the waterpots with water.)))

To God be the glory, not unto us but all the glory is due to His Name, help me just to exalt His Holy Name, to pay homage unto Him, for the Heavens bow before Him and we worship and adore Him, He is a mighty God that we are serving...

We usually hear people say life is not fair, that is so true, life has no favorites, but God has lavished us despite of the unfair circumstances. His love was expressed in Christ as Grace, even though life doesn't show mercy, but we are under the mercies of God. In life we come against unpleasant experiences, we are bombard by shocking reports. Well it is life, Job once said in his misery and personal crisis, Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (Job 14:1).

As we embark on a Crisis series, we going to look at how to survive in a crisis? how to turn pressure into pleasure? and also how to rise above crisis? but importantly we need to fill our hearts with the Word of God, in the midst of crisis. You need to fill your water pots with water.

Catastrophes are inevitable, we can not run away from them, we can not stop them, all we have to do is to go through them and allow them to teach and change us to be better. Crisis either build you or break you, crisis are here to show us that our abilities are limited, they are here to show us we can not trust our strengths. Well it might be that God wants to show us we need to trust Him and His Word. When we don't know the way out His is the way out, when we are frustrated He becomes our peace of mind. He is a solution to all our disasters.

Sometimes crisis are here to change the way we think. Jesus was once invited to a Wedding in Cana, it points out that numerous crisis in life they arise in marriage, when crisis arise we need to invite Jesus, in a marriage Jesus is essential. They ran out of wine, wine was the figurative of joy and pleasure. In life joy and pleasure ran out unexpectedly, then people will start to find a way to breathe, some ways harm our loved ones sometimes they hurt us.

Mary went to Jesus an told Him wine has ran out, Jesus wasn't much concern, but Glory be to God that even if it was not His disciple wedding, marriage is always a concern to Jesus. He told His disciples to fill waters into waterpots, no marriage or a person can survive worst crisis by tradition, culture and other worldly system. What we need is water which is the Word, when we start to drink it, it brightens our faces in the midst of crisis, the Word of God brings back hope in a hopelessness situation, the Word brings wonder ending up asking yourself how did we make it. We survive in a crisis by focusing on the Word of God not on the crisis. Being in a crisis it means keeping your head above the water. We need to let God be the solver of the unsolvable situation.

[Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,...]
